This role requires 15+ years of software engineering experience with Embedded C/C++, Linux, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), UML/SysML, Model-Based Software Development, CAN/J1939, Ethernet, CPU/GPU/FPGA architectures, DevSecOps, SIL/HIL testing, and vehicle systems integration, with eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Develop and integrate embedded vehicle software and cybersecurity solutions using rapid prototyping, Agile development, and DevSecOps methodologies.\n * Develop software requirements specifications, algorithms, logic flowcharts, and activity diagrams using SysML modeling and simulation inputs.\n * Research, simulate, and analyze software solutions to evaluate system performance against customer and system requirements.\n * Perform engineering trade studies to evaluate and compare alternative software and system approaches.\n * Apply software lifecycle development, verification, configuration management, and integration processes using tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes, CANoe, MATLAB, and Simulink.\n * Support the development and integration of software drivers, applications, kernels, containers, and virtual machines.\n * Apply safety-critical software and systems engineering principles throughout development and integration activities.\n * Integrate military lethality, survivability, and C5ISR systems into combat vehicle platforms.\n * Support CPU, GPU, and FPGA integration using applicable engineering and design tools.\n * Collaborate with external customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and other technical stakeholders.\n * Support component- and vehicle-level testing, including prototype development and test activities.\n * Review test plans for compliance with customer requirements and system functionality.\n * Use test and scanning software tools to support verification, validation, and troubleshooting.\n * Support System Integration Laboratory (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) integration and testing.\n * Monitor and analyze test results, troubleshoot software and system issues, and implement corrective actions.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * US citizenship required\n * Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.\n * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.\n * 15+ years of software engineering experience, including software development and systems integration across the product lifecycle.\n * Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Linux, and Embedded C/C++.\n * Experience with UML/SysML and Model-Based Software Development.\n * Experience with software and engineering tools including Git, Jira, Confluence, Cameo, Kubernetes, CANoe, MATLAB/Simulink, and Microsoft Office.\n * Experience with standard vehicle and communication bus protocols, including J1939 CAN Bus, RS-422/485, and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet.\n * Experience with communications and video protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DDS, Multicast, DisplayPort, HDMI, and HD-SDI.\n * Experience integrating or developing systems using x86, ARM, GPU, and FPGA architectures.\n * Working knowledge of digital, analog, power, and RF electronics.\n * Knowledge of systems-based design and related engineering standards and processes.\n * Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and vehicle systems.\n * Understanding of vehicle power distribution systems, automotive power management, and Power Distribution Modules (PDMs) and their integration into vehicle systems.\n * Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generators, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.\n * Experience with engineering management in a highly regulated industry.\n * Experience working within multinational, multi-organizational, and corporate engineering environments.\n * Experience supporting proposal development, bid capture, contract negotiations, and delivery planning.\n * Ability to develop and present technical solutions to customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.\n * Must meet applicable background check, employment verification, reference check, and controlled substance testing requirements.\n * Must be willing and able to travel internationally for technology transfer activities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.\n * Experience delivering large, complex U.S. Department of Defense programs.\n * Experience with U.S. DoD ground vehicle requirements, vehicle development, and acquisition processes.\n * Familiarity with U.S. Army TACOM, TARDEC, and/or GVSC organizations.\n * Experience with military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5ISR) systems.\n * Experience with fire control systems, stabilization, coordinate transformation, and related algorithms.\n * Experience with
