A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Construction Site Manager - Conveyor & Material Handling Systems\n \n Position type: Full time, Contract to Hire\n Duration: 12-Month Contract to Hire\n Locations (Immediate Need): Onsite Position\n \n \n * Seattle, WA \n * Tampa, FL \n * Albuquerque, NM \n * Denver, CO \n * Columbus, OH \n As a Construction Site Manager - Material Handling & Conveyor Systems, you will: \n \n * Lead daily field operations for conveyor and material handling equipment installation projects. \n * Supervise construction crews, tradespeople, subcontractors, and installation teams. \n * Coordinate project schedules, manpower requirements, subcontractor activities, and material deliveries. \n * Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, layouts, specifications, and installation documents. \n * Monitor installation quality and ensure work is completed according to project requirements. \n * Conduct site inspections and identify potential installation conflicts or project risks. \n * Track project progress and maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and installation records. \n * Utilize project management and reporting tools such as Procore, CRM platforms, and other construction software. \n * Coordinate equipment orders, material procurement, and onsite logistics. \n * Assist with invoice review and approval processes. \n * Support equipment startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities. \n * Track project budgets, costs, and resource utilization. \n * Facilitate project meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders. \n * Promote and enforce all site safety policies and procedures. \n * Resolve field-related issues involving equipment, materials, labor, drawings, and installation requirements. \n The ideal candidate will have: \n \n * Strong construction background, experience leading field teams, subcontractors, and installation activities, and the ability to manage project documentation, schedules, budgets, and reporting systems. \n * Experience supporting conveyor systems, material handling equipment, distribution centers, automated warehouses, airport baggage systems, or industrial mechanical installations is highly preferred. \n * This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring 100% onsite project support. \n Required Qualifications:\n This role is ideal for construction professionals who have progressed into leadership positions such as Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Site Manager, or Construction Project Manager and are looking to continue growing their careers. \n \n * 3+ years of construction leadership experience as a: \n \n \n * Foreman \n * General Foreman \n * Assistant Superintendent \n * Superintendent \n * Site Manager \n * Construction Project Manager \n * General Contractor or Specialty Subcontractor Leader \n * Strong background in construction, industrial installation, mechanical installation, conveyor systems, or material handling systems. \n * Strong background in Conveyor installation/material handling systems \n * Experience leading field crews and coordinating subcontractors on active construction sites. \n * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation. \n * Experience using project tracking, construction management, CRM, or reporting software. \n * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, email communication, reporting tools, and virtual meeting platforms. \n * Experience documenting field activities, tracking progress, and maintaining project records. \n * Excellent organizational and communication skills. \n * Strong leadership abilities with a desire to continue advancing within construction management. \n * Ability to work onsite full-time in a fast-paced construction environment. \n Not Required, but Preferred Qualifications: \n \n * Airport baggage handling system installation experience. \n * Automated warehouse or distribution center construction experience. \n * Experience using Procore \n * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. \n * Experience with commissioning, startup, or operational readiness activities. \n * Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related education. \n Travel Requirements: \n \n * Candidates residing in the immediate hiring locations will primarily support projects within their assigned market. All candidates should be open to significant travel throughout the United States as project needs evolve.
