Position: High School Spanish Teacher
Location: Merrill High School
Reports To: High School Principal
Position Summary:
The qualified candidate will design and deliver engaging, student-focused foreign language instruction in Spanish. The teacher will foster an inclusive classroom culture, support student growth across diverse learning levels, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration.
Key Expectations:
- Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate.
- Spanish (FF) Endorsement required.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively, communicate clearly with families, and support students' academic and social-emotional needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass:
- Criminal background check
- Unprofessional conduct background check
- Personal and business references background check
