Job Description

The Home-Based Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy to children and youth (birth to age 21) who meet State criteria for Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). Services include crisis intervention, community consultation, and education, delivered primarily in community settings such as the home or school, in accordance with Medicaid Home-Based service guidelines.

Individuals with lived experience in mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with LMSW or LLMSW licensure, or a master’s degree in Counseling with LPC or LLPC licensure.
Ability to participate in the after-hours Emergency Services on-call rotation.
Ability to travel within the service area and throughout Michigan as needed.
Valid State of Michigan professional license (full license preferred; limited license accepted).
