Our client in Romulus, MI is in need of a Welder/Fabricator for their shop. This is a 1st shift position (6a-4:30p), Monday-Thursday, half day Fridays with unlimited overtime, $23-$26 per hour, contract to hire, full paid insurance upon hire.
Must have:
- Excellent blueprint reading skills
- Understand requirements of building fixtures for fabrication from drawings provided.
- A minimum 2 years' experience fabricating is preferred.
- Experience with operation of general shop equipment i.e. Forklift, Crane Small hand tools Torches etc.
- Welding capabilities and knowledge a must.
- Must have own tools and maintain work area and completion reports status of all work as required.
