Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Automotive Infotainment & Connectivity

Design, develop, integrate, and validate automotive infotainment and wireless connectivity software, with a focus on Bluetooth Classic/BLE, IVI system integration, Bluetooth SIG certification, and cross-functional collaboration across Android, QNX, and Linux environments.
Infotainment & Connectivity Software Development
- Develop and integrate infotainment software components, including Bluetooth Classic/BLE, Wi-Fi, OnStar, Android Auto, CarPlay, and profiles (HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, OPP, PAN).
- Support platforms bring-up and feature development across Android (AOSP), QNX, Linux, and AUTOSAR environments.
System, Functional & Unit Testing
- Perform unit, functional, regression, and system-level validation for infotainment and wireless features.
- Analyze logs, troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues from field, factory, and OEM customers.
Bluetooth Certification & Validation
- Lead Bluetooth SIG certification activities, including PICS documentation, TPG file generation, and interoperability testing using Ellisys, FTS, and PTS.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with global engineering teams and OEM partners (e.g., GM, HARMAN, DENSO) to align deliverables with project requirements.
Defect Tracking & Agile Processes
- Track issues in Jira; maintain source control in Git/Perforce; participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews.
Documentation
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software design specs, test cases, validation reports, and audit-ready records.
Knowledge & Skills Applied:
- Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) and BLE protocol stacks and profiles (HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, OPP, PAN, DUN, HSP, ATT/GATT).
- Embedded OS environments: Android (AOSP), QNX, Linux, AUTOSAR 4.x, and RTOS.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded software development.
- Automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART.
- Tools: Git, Perforce, Jira, Ellisys, FTS, PTS, CANoe, Vehicle Spy, Jenkins, IAR, Green Hills.
- Static analysis tools and MISRA compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent + 5 years of experience
