Beacon Hill's client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a Conflicts Analysis Attorney to join its team on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with prior conflicts experience who is looking for a remote position with a collaborative and sophisticated legal environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a respected law firm while gaining valuable experience in a critical risk management and compliance function. Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive conflicts checks for new business intake, lateral hires, and other firm matters. * Analyze conflict search results and identify potential legal and business conflicts. * Review client and matter information to ensure compliance with professional responsibility requirements and firm policies. * Provide conflict recommendations and assist in resolving conflicts issues in a timely manner. * Communicate with attorneys, legal staff, and firm leadership regarding conflicts-related questions and resolutions. * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to conflicts clearance processes. Qualifications * J.D. from an accredited law school. * Active bar membership required. * Prior experience in legal conflicts analysis, new business intake, or a related law firm risk management function. * Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Schedule & Work Environment * Remote; West Coast required or willing and able to work West Coast business hours (approximately 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM ET). * Flexibility to work overtime periodically based on business needs.
