Staffing Inc. is partnered with a plastic Injection Mold company in Grand Haven, MI who is looking for qualified machine operators. The machine operator will be using injection molding machines to produce parts and may also troubleshoot problems and ensure quality control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, ensuring efficient production processes while adhering to safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively in an assembly line environment. Pay: $16/hr.
Machine Operator Worker Responsibilities:
- Set up molds
- Troubleshoot problems
- Make corrections
- Ensure quality controls
- Remove parts from molds
- Sort, trim, clean, and pack parts
- Count parts and weigh boxes
- Identify well-produced parts
- Follow instructions and specifications
- Perform simple math calculations
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Job experience or a technical or vocational degree
- Strong mechanical abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Stand, twist, and bend
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Pass a background check/drug test
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Great attendance and positive attitude
