IRONWOOD AREA SCHOOLS is seeking applicants for
one (1) Full-Time, Secondary (7-12) School Counselor
for the 2026-2027 school year.
School Counselors provide a comprehensive guidance and
counseling program designed to address the social, emotional,
educational and occupational needs of all students.
Start Date: Beginning of 2026-27 School Year
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Guidance & Counseling with School Counselor License (SCL)
- School Counseling Endorsement on a Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Preliminary Employment Authorization to work as a School Counselor (PEASC) or Temporary School Counselor Authorization (TSCA) with the expectation that the SCL or NT will be attained promptly
- or Meets MDE Criteria for Out-of-State Applicants or is able to obtain the same
- Two years of successful School Counseling experience preferred
