Lead Custodial Technician
Pay Range: $18.43 - $21.24 Hourly
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor this position provides operational oversight of environmental services and custodial operations. Performs a wide variety of custodial and maintenance tasks for Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA) and its satellite locations to ensure a healthy, safe and sanitary environment. May be required to provide on call 24/7 coverage. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery based practices; person centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals; and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumer in the recovery process.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
Works in inside and outside and drives vehicle under all weather conditions. Regularly performs heavy physical labor. Exposed to cleaning chemicals and hazards of operation of power maintenance equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent with courses in industrial arts.
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience working in a business/healthcare setting as a custodian. Experience with equipment, machinery, light maintenance and repair including vehicle maintenance will be given preference.
Licsenses and Certifications:
Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s license and maintain an excellent driving record.
