Position Summary:
The Food Service Worker prepares and serves meals for school children and businesses.
Responsibilities include food prep, maintaining sanitation, serving lunch, and assisting with
catering events during evenings and weekends as needed.
The part-time role (25–30 hours/week, Monday–Friday) requires standing for 6+ hours, lifting 20–25 lbs, and teamwork,

Shift: Monday-Friday (25-30 hours per week) evenings and weekend availability for
catering events as needed.
(2) 6am – 2:30PM,
(2) 7am - 2:30PM.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prep salads, deli, and all hot food daily.
. Serve lunch in designated areas
· Knowledgeable about the menu items and ingredients
· Organize and work quickly. Know when to restock items
· Keep warmers and food at proper temperatures (below 41 ° F or above 140 ° F).
· Keep area clean and sanitized at all times
· Help peers act as a team player with all matters
· Assist with food check-in and temperature taking.
· Assist with doing dishes/pot/pans and general clean-up.
· Sweep and mop area at end of day and as needed throughout the service periods.
Requirements:
Must have 1 year experience in a food service setting
Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend for 6+ hours per day
Must be able to work in a team setting and with children
Must be able to lift 20-25lbs Assure proper portion control
Assist Chef with all prep, setup, and clean-up for food service
