JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for scheduling all outbound and inbound deliveries for multiple warehouses and field sites including complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations on oversize loads. Interfaces with field contractors and supervisors as main point of contact for delivery requests to support field maintenance and capital activities. Responsible for supporting driver scorecard reporting in ITC's telematic system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates and monitors daily/weekly outbound deliveries from the warehouses.
Maintains all activities in work management system.
Interfaces with field operations on delivery requests and concerns.
Responsible for coordinating inbound deliveries to all the warehouses.
Responsible for obtaining oversized permits.
Knowledge of heavy equipment.
Knowledge of off road equipment.
Understanding of State and Local transportation laws.
DOT compliance.
Single and annual move permits.
Emergency permitting.
Reviews and reports last minute deliveries.
Addresses inbound delivery issues with Supply Chain and vendors.
Monitors mat movement for all business units
Coordinates mat delivery to and from projects
Monitors equipment rental activities scheduled in work management system.
Interface with fleet management systems to track ITC assets.
Creates driver weekly/monthly safety scorecards.
Creates weekly and monthly reporting on fleet activities.
Responsible for assisting in daily fleet actives.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or other business-related field preferred or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business-related field.
Utility experience preferred.
Familiarity with fleet management systems (i.e. Geotab) preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Time management skills especially during period of peak workloads.
Ability to work well on a team or independently.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and work efficiently under deadline pressure.
