Join our incredible team at Lakeside Resort on beautiful Houghton Lake!

*Must be TIPS or TAMS certified*

*Must have at least 2 years' experience*

Greet guests, take accurate food and drink orders, and offer menu or cocktail recommendations.
Mix and garnish drinks following standard recipes and portion controls.
Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age and monitor consumption to prevent intoxication.
Process payments via cash registers or POS (point-of-sale) systems and manage open tabs.
Restock bar inventory, ice, glassware, garnishes, and beer/wine/spirit supplies.
Maintain a clean, sanitary bar area by wiping counters, washing glassware, and following health regulations.
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, wine, and beer varieties.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-facing skills.
High energy with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.
Age requirements and local alcohol server certifications (such as TIPS or TAMS) as mandated by state law.

Additional Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is not required
No felonies, background check is required
Must have DL and vehicle
Must be available weekends and holidays
Flexible/rotating scheduling
Wage will be discussed at time of interview and will depend upon prior experience and knowledge
