PART TIME JOB OPENING

AT THE

BAVARIAN INN LODGE

POSITION:    Blast Entry and Safety Attendant                                                                   JOB LEVEL:  4

Hours: Part Time Appx 15-20 hours per week – 3-4 Days a week; earliest shift start time 9:45 am, latest shift end time 9:30 pm or later.  Some overnight shifts may be required. Must be available for a variety of shifts.

Shift Expectations:

• Shifts vary based on operational needs.
• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Private events may require overnight assignments.

The Blast Entry and Safety Attendant is a front-line team member assigned exclusively to the Bavarian Blast indoor waterpark at the Bavarian Inn Lodge.

This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe and welcoming entry process for all guests. Responsibilities include screening guest bags for prohibited items—such as outside food, beverages, glass, and weapons—and issuing wristbands based on height measurements.

Attendants also staff the safety desk, where they answer guest questions, provide general information, and offer basic assistance, including minor first-aid supplies. This position supports the daily operations of the waterpark and works closely with the Aquatics Management team to uphold park guidelines and deliver friendly, guest-focused service.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service or hospitality experience a plus
• Safety or security background is helpful but not required
• CPR and First Aid certified preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Able to stand for extended periods and walk the waterpark
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable working in hot or humid environments
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Friendly, proactive attitude
• Able to remain calm under pressure or in busy settings
