Position: Housekeeper (Limited-Service Hotel)
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager / Assistant General Manager
Department: Housekeeping / Guest Services
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas in a
limited-service hotel environment. This role supports guest satisfaction by ensuring rooms are clean, comfortable,
and maintained to hotel brand standards and company policies.
Primary Responsibilities
• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds and replenishing amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and remove trash from guest rooms and assigned areas.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance issues and report concerns promptly.
• Restock linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed.
• Follow all cleaning procedures, safety standards, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping services.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.
• Complete assigned rooms and tasks within established time standards.

• Provide clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.
• Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when interacting with guests.
• Support timely room readiness to ensure smooth guest check-in experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; hotel experience a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
• Attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
