Position Summary
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring a consistent supply of clean linens, towels, and laundry items
to support daily hotel operations in a limited-service hotel environment. This role supports guest satisfaction by
maintaining cleanliness standards, operating laundry equipment safely, and ensuring compliance with hotel brand
standards and company policies.
Primary Responsibilities
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Operate washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room at all times.
• Inspect linens for damage or stains and remove unusable items from circulation.
• Ensure adequate supply of clean linens is available for housekeeping and front desk operations.
• Follow all laundry procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and safety standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
• Assist housekeeping team as needed to support operational demands.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred; hotel experience a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.
• Indoor laundry and housekeeping support environment with moderate noise levels.
