Beck's Ornamental & Turf Management is seeking a dependable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground sprinkler and irrigation systems for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of irrigation components and a strong desire to provide quality service while working outdoors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install underground sprinkler and irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components, including sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, and wiring.
- Perform seasonal system start-ups, inspections, and winterizations.
- Adjust irrigation systems to ensure efficient water coverage and proper operation.
- Locate and repair leaks, broken lines, and malfunctioning equipment.
- Read and follow irrigation plans and installation specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Follow company safety procedures and job site standards.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Qualifications
Required

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
- Knowledge of underground sprinkler and irrigation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Preferred
- Previous experience installing or servicing irrigation systems.
- Experience with residential and commercial irrigation equipment.
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, back flow prevention devices, and water management practices.
- Experience operating landscaping equipment.
Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Seasonal overtime may be required during peak service periods.
- Work may involve digging trenches and working around landscaping features.
