Beck's Ornamental & Turf Management is seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers to join our team. This position involves a variety of outdoor work including landscaping, lawn care, irrigation system installation and maintenance, and snow removal services for both residential and commercial customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a hardworking team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform landscaping and lawn care services for residential and commercial properties
- Assist with planting, mulching, edging, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely
- Assist with seasonal snow plowing and snow removal operations
- Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and supplies
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while providing quality customer service
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in landscaping and lawn care
- Experience working with irrigation systems
- Experience operating landscaping or snow removal equipment
- Previous experience in residential and commercial property maintenance
Equipment Experience
Candidates may be required to safely operate:
- Commercial lawn mowers
- Thatchers
- Skid loaders
- Tractors
- String trimmers and edgers
- Snow plows and snow removal equipment
- Other landscaping and turf management equipment
Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Overtime and seasonal hours may be required during peak periods
