JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN) required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Michigan is required.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years previous experience working in a community health or hospital setting required. An understanding of healthcare operations is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting required, 5 years or more preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience required, 5 years or more preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to set priorities and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle patient complaints and staff performance issues.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations, patients, providers, staff, and community members.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Proven ability to promote confidence, cooperation, and good working relationships across various departments and with leadership.
- Physical Effort: The ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
- Hours of Work: Full-time on site, with flexibility required to accommodate varying shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Travel: Travel between GLBHC sites is required. Some out-of-area travel may be necessary. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with GLBHC travel policy.
