Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (100% Onsite)
Pay: Up to $37.02/hr.
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, and Order Management Specialist to support global inventory movement and international supply chain operations. This long-term contract role focuses on balancing inventory across multiple regions, improving product availability, and supporting global distribution networks.
What You'll Do
Manage inventory planning and order management across global distribution centers
Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, and supply data to reduce shortages and excess stock
Coordinate international inventory transfers and replenishment activities
Support forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization efforts
Partner with teams across North America, Europe, Latin America, APAC, and other global regions
Monitor supply risks, backorders, and service levels while developing action plans
Lead cross-functional collaboration to improve inventory flow and customer service performance
Use data, reporting tools, and analytics to drive supply chain decisions and process improvements
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, demand planning, or order management
Experience supporting global or international supply chain operations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Advanced Excel skills preferred
Experience with AI, automation, analytics, or forecasting tools is a plus
Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and collaborate with global teams
Must be authorized to work in the United States
