Job Description: The accounting intern will be responsible for assisting with audit preparation, month end closing, simple order entry, reconciliations, and front desk reception. This position is a temporary internship for the months October through March.
Skills required:
- Accounting background
- An understanding of reconciliations and financial statement layouts
- Interpersonal skills to answer the phone and be pleasant to people calling in
- Handle taking orders from various people
- Computer skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and typing.
- Preferred: Knowledge of ERP and Access software
