Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure injection molding machines have the correct materials to maintain production.
- Remove and replace materials and equipment during job changeovers.
- Clean and maintain grinders, dryers, material loaders, and related equipment.
- Stage materials for upcoming production runs and maintain materials at active machines.
- Pull materials from inventory and complete required documentation.
- Perform cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Mix materials and color concentrates according to specifications.
- Set auto loaders to achieve proper regrind ratios.
- Assist with moving materials, cleaning equipment, and maintaining work areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and support company goals and production needs.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, material handling, or related experience.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
- Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Preferred:
- Injection molding experience.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Experience working with material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
