Position Description
Employees in this job function are responsible for translating desired business capabilities into technical solutions.
- Responsible for application design, installation, configuration, and development support activities for:
- B2Bi applications
- Web applications
- Mainframe applications
- Demonstrate a strong level of expertise in one or more technical environments, including:
- Software packages
- Programming languages
- Databases
- Operating systems
- Maintain a solid knowledge of EDI solutions
- Own the quality of solutions across each environment and for each trading partner
- Coordinate with related workstreams and teams, including:
- Infrastructure teams
- Ford Customer Service Division
- Manufacturing teams
- Perform systems tuning and diagnostics across:
- UNIX
- Linux
- Windows platforms
Core Experience
- 5+ years of experience across a wide range of supply chain management business areas, including:
- System development
- Business intelligence
- Business processes
- Customer relations
- 5+ years of experience with:
- Enterprise Application Integration
- Middleware
- Other integration technologies
- 5+ years of experience with:
- Architecture diagrams
- Sequence diagrams
- UML diagrams
- Network connectivity
- Communication protocols
- Proficiency with:
- EDI mapping tools
- ANSI X12
- EDIFACT
- UNIX
- Linux
- Windows
- SQL Server
- MQ Series
Skills Required

- Senior Associate level with:
- 6–10 years of overall IT experience
- 4+ years of focused experience in:
- Solution Architecture
