Key Responsibilities:
- Developing manufacturing programs for 3-4 axis CNC milling machines.
- Setting up CNC machining centers to ensure proper operation and accuracy.
- Operating Haas milling equipment to produce complex medical device parts.
- Designing and developing fixtures to support precision machining of intricate components.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings for manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshooting machine issues and optimizing machining processes.
- Collaborating with team members to improve procedures and maintain quality standards.
- Mentoring junior operators and providing technical guidance.
- Supporting succession planning by transferring knowledge and expertise.
- Ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards during all machining activities.
Qualifications:
- CNC certification or associate degree in machining/manufacturing preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CNC milling setup and operation, preferably on Haas equipment.
- Proficiency in programming 3-4 axis milling centers.
- Strong understanding of fixture development for complex parts.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with hands-on machine experience.
- Capable of working independently and troubleshooting real-time issues.
- Experience with medical device manufacturing and understanding of tight tolerances.
- 5-axis milling programming knowledge.
- CAM software proficiency.
