Air Force: All Mechanical 2T331 or Electrical 2A636, AFSCs. USMC: Field 6000. Navy and Coast Guard: Electronics Techs, Machinery Repair, Hull Techs, Aviation Maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have, or be able to obtain, own tools with rolling tool box
- Well-rounded mechanical experience
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn
- Must have reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends
- Previous military experience in one of the above specialties or similar specialty
