Position Summary
Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking skilled, compassionate, and dependable Caregivers / Home Health Aides to join its care team. Caregivers provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes by assisting with personal care, daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, appointments, and companionship.
This position is ideal for candidates who are caring, reliable, patient, and passionate about improving the quality of life for others. Right at Home provides training, coaching, communication, recognition, and professional development to help caregivers succeed in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
The Caregiver / Home Health Aide may assist clients with activities of daily living, including:

Assist with personal hygiene, including toileting, bathing, mouth care, shaving, skin care, and hair care.

Assist clients with ambulation, walking, transfers, and safe movement throughout the home.

Help clients with dressing and undressing.

Prepare meals and snacks according to client instructions.

Accompany clients on errands, outings, or medical appointments.

Provide companionship, emotional support, and respectful conversation.

Support client safety and comfort in the home.
-
Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs.

Follow client care plans and instructions from supervisors.

Communicate professionally with clients, families, and care team members.
Light Housekeeping Duties
Caregivers may also assist with basic housekeeping tasks, including:

Vacuuming
-
Dusting
-
Sweeping and mopping floors
-
Washing dishes
-
Changing bed linens
-
Doing laundry
-
Cleaning bathrooms
-
Keeping the home environment clean, safe, and organized
Required Qualifications
-
Valid driver’s license required.
-
Insured automobile required.
-
Three years of experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or related healthcare support role preferred.

Experience working in homes, facilities, or other care environments preferred.

Must be compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.

Must be able to follow directions and client care instructions.

Must have strong communication skills.

Must be reliable and able to arrive to assigned shifts on time.

Must be able to work independently in a client’s home.

Must be able to complete required onboarding, training, and background screening.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.

Experience supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or individuals needing home care assistance.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to remain calm, respectful, and professional in client homes.

Ability to provide reliable transportation to client assignments.
-
Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and development.
Schedule and Hours
This position offers flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability.
Possible schedule needs may include:
