Position Summary
Advance ABA Care is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic ABA Behavior Technicians to provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis support to clients with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs.
Behavior Technicians work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and help clients build communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills. This position is a good fit for candidates who enjoy working with children and families and are interested in behavioral health, autism services, psychology, education, social work, or healthcare.
Entry-level candidates may be considered if they are willing to complete training and obtain or maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification within the required timeframe.
Essential Responsibilities

Implement ABA treatment programs in home, school, clinic, or community settings as directed by the supervising BCBA.

Follow individualized Behavior Intervention Plans specific to each client.

Collect required data during client sessions using data collection software.

Communicate with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress, concerns, or service needs.

Review and follow consultation and supervision recommendations.

Support clients with communication, behavior, social, play, and daily living skills.

Communicate professionally with colleagues, families, and supervisors.

Follow confidentiality, mandated reporting, safety, and company policy requirements.

Assist with onboarding and mentoring new Behavior Technicians when directed by leadership.

Obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 90 days of hire, if required.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience working with children, autism, childcare, behavioral health, caregiving, education, or healthcare is helpful.

Entry-level candidates may be considered.

Must be patient, dependable, professional, and willing to learn.

Must be able to follow treatment plans and accept feedback from supervisors.

Strong communication and documentation skills preferred.

Reliable transportation may be required for home, school, and community-based services.

Must be able to complete required training and onboarding.

Must be able to pass required background checks and employment screenings.
