About Us
Ishpeming Elks Lodge #447 is a proud and active part of the community, service members through social events, charitable efforts, and community service. We are seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our kitchen area, helping elevate the member experience and ensure smooth lodge functions.
Responsibilities
· Oversee kitchen operations, inventory and staffing
· Order supplies, manage stock levels, and track expenses
· Schedule and supervise kitchen workers
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Support planning and execution of lodge events and rentals
· Coordinate menus, food prep and beverage service for events
· Work with lodge leadership to improve member services
Qualifications
· Prior experience in food & beverage service or management
· Strong organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to multitask
· ServSafe certification required (or willingness to obtain)
· Availability for flexible hours including some nights/weekends
· Passion for hospitality and community service
