Systems Engineer - Controls (Hybrid) | Temporary Assignment

We are seeking a Systems Engineer - Controls to support the validation and testing of advanced vehicle control systems, including braking, steering, and suspension technologies. This hybrid contract opportunity offers the chance to work on safety-critical embedded software in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute software validation plans using MiL, SiL, and HiL testing environments.
Create automated test solutions using Python and industry-standard tools.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot software issues, and support root cause investigations.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and compliance.
Review requirements and expand test coverage through fault insertion and negative testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years of experience in embedded software validation, controls engineering, or software testing.
Experience with MiL, SiL, or HiL testing methodologies.
Knowledge of test automation and scripting, preferably Python.
Familiarity with tools such as ecu.test, Vector CANoe/CANape/CANalyzer, or MATLAB Simulink is preferred.
Experience with automotive embedded systems is highly desired.
