Position Summary
Journey to Healing, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Program Coordinator to support the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of mental health, wellness, prevention, and community-based programs. The Program Coordinator serves as a liaison between participants, staff, community partners, and leadership to ensure programs operate efficiently and achieve intended outcomes.
This position oversees day-to-day program operations, participant engagement, documentation, reporting, scheduling, and compliance activities while supporting the agency's commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and participant-centered services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations of assigned programs and initiatives
- Develop and maintain program schedules, calendars, and activity plans
- Monitor participant enrollment, attendance, engagement, and retention
- Support participant intake, registration, referrals, and follow-up processes
- Maintain program records, documentation, and required reports
- Track program outcomes, performance measures, and deliverables
- Assist with grant implementation, data collection, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate communication with participants, families, referral sources, and community partners
- Support recruitment, outreach, and community engagement efforts
- Assist with planning and implementation of workshops, support groups, events, and special initiatives
- Monitor program supplies, resources, and operational needs
- Provide supervision and guidance to program assistants, interns, volunteers, and facilitators as assigned
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure quality service delivery
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, Education, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in program coordination, behavioral health, education, nonprofit management, healthcare, or community-based services preferred
- Experience working with grant-funded programs preferred
- Experience supervising interns, volunteers, or program staff preferred

Work Environment
Work may be performed in office, school, clinical, community, and virtual settings. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support program activities, events, trainings, and community outreach initiatives.
