Position Summary
Journey to Healing, Inc. is seeking an organized, strategic, and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of organizational initiatives, grant-funded programs, and special projects. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing timelines, monitoring deliverables, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
The Project Manager works collaboratively with leadership, clinical staff, program teams, funders, community partners, and stakeholders to advance the organization's mission and maximize community impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, implementation, and oversight of agency projects and initiatives
- Develop project plans, timelines, work plans, and deliverable schedules
- Coordinate project activities across departments, staff, contractors, and community partners
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, barriers, and solutions
- Track project goals, performance measures, outcomes, and deliverables
- Assist with grant implementation, compliance monitoring, and reporting requirements
- Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting systems
- Facilitate project meetings and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, and project-related resources in collaboration with leadership
- Support data collection, evaluation activities, and continuous quality improvement efforts
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project summaries for funders, partners, and leadership
- Ensure projects align with organizational priorities, strategic goals, and funding requirements
- Support community engagement, partnership development, and outreach initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational growth and program success
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Psychology, Education, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in project management, program management, nonprofit administration, healthcare, behavioral health, education, or community-based services
- Experience managing grant-funded projects preferred
- Experience working with community organizations, government agencies, and funding partners preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential preferred

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and equity-centered practices
Work Environment
Work may occur in office, community, school, clinical, and virtual settings. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support project implementation, community events, stakeholder meetings, and organizational initiatives.
