Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) operating horizontal milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, including speeds, feeds, and tooling applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, set-up sheets and technical drawings
- Experience performing setups, touch-offs, and basic program adjustments
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience with Mazak machines/controls
- Experience working with pallet-changing systems on Mazak horizontal mills
- Ability to edit or modify CNC programs (G-code or conversational programming)
- Familiarity with Keyence optical measurement systems or similar inspection equipment
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume and/or production machining environments
