We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Manage chronic diseases and provide preventive care to promote overall health.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics, Nephrology, and Sports Medicine as needed.
- Provide critical care services when necessary, ensuring timely intervention for acute medical issues.
- Address mental health concerns including PTSD care as part of holistic patient management.
- Utilize radiography and other diagnostic tools to assist in patient assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients about their conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or eligibility for certification.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state.
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and physical examinations.
- Knowledge of critical care protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with PTSD care methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
