iAMERICA Center is accepting applications for student volunteers and pre-health volunteers interested in gaining real-life exposure to healthcare, dental care, behavioral health, rehabilitation, and community service.

iAMERICA Center offers students the chance to serve in a real healthcare setting with real patients, real providers, and real community impact.
With more than five locations and hours 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, students have greater opportunities to build consistent volunteer hours, gain meaningful exposure, and support underserved communities.
This experience can help strengthen resumes, graduate/professional school applications, personal statements, and interview discussions. Students are not just completing hours — they are serving the community, building communication skills, and gaining real-world healthcare experience.
Volunteer Activities May Include:

Patient greeting and navigation

Appointment support and reminder calls

Community outreach and health education

Medical, dental, behavioral health, and rehabilitation support

Case management and patient resource support

Health fair and outreach event assistance

Administrative and clinic flow support

Translation support, if fluent and approved

Observation/shadowing when available and permitted
All duties are assigned based on student interest, availability, training, supervision, and program needs.

Student volunteers may not independently diagnose, treat, counsel, provide medical advice, or perform procedures. All activities must follow iAMERICA Center policies, patient consent, privacy rules, school requirements, and applicable laws.
