Signature Research, Inc. (SGR) seeks a full-time Engineering Program Manager to join their multi-disciplinary team in Calumet, Michigan.
This position is responsible for the management, execution, and tasking of several ongoing engineering and manufacturing efforts at SGR. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly collaborative, an excellent communicator, forward thinking, and capable of managing several programs concurrently.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $95,000 - $115,000 annual starting wage based on your knowledge and experience.

- Full-time, Monday – Friday in-office position; remote work is not available.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Work with SGR’s engineering staff to ensure program efforts are in-line with technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure key deliverables are being delivered within technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
- Communicate with customers by providing continual updates, risks, briefings, etc. as required.
- Manage program tasking, costs, and schedules to ensure SGR complies with all deliverable items.
- Collaborate with leadership toward the identification of risk mitigation strategies, process improvements, and contributions toward strategic planning.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience (at least 7 years).
- Proven experience in Program Management, leading a team of professionals, manufacturing, and weapon system survivability.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
- Ability to travel to customer facilities to support briefings and test events.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain (and maintain) a security clearance. Don’t have clearance? No problem—we’ll help you through the process.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the United States (less than 20%) is required.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS THAT PUT YOU OVER THE TOP.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- 10+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
- Experience leading a team through the entire project lifecycle, from concept and clean-sheet design to manufacturing and final delivery.
- Familiarity of multispectral threat bands (Visual, Thermal, Radar) and phenomenology.
