Industrial Engineer / Manufacturing Innovation Engineer (Temporary Assignment)
Ready to make an immediate impact in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment? We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer/Manufacturing Innovation Engineer for a temporary assignment to support productivity improvement, advanced manufacturing initiatives, and plant optimization projects at a leading automotive manufacturing facility.
In this role, you will drive labor and productivity improvements through time studies, process analysis, capacity planning, ergonomics evaluations, and manufacturing optimization. You'll also support the implementation of innovative technologies, including robotics, automation, AI vision systems, digitalization, data analytics, 3D printing, and autonomous mobile robots.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting time and motion studies, labor analysis, and productivity improvement initiatives
Performing cycle time, capacity, and manufacturing constraint analysis
Supporting workstation design, ergonomics assessments, and plant layout updates
Assisting with advanced manufacturing and automation projects
Tracking innovation initiatives and project milestones
Supporting equipment run-offs, production launches, and capacity expansion projects
Collaborating with engineering, production, and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing operations, or process improvement
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and project management skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
AutoCAD, MODAPTS, Power BI, PowerApps, robotics, automation, or AI technology experience preferred
