Job Summary:
A Process Engineer must have the ability to launch tooling, equipment and assembly processes for new and existing products that meet the Customer and Lotis requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities

- Create new & optimize existing processes, workflows and documentation such as Work Instructions for all manufacturing operations.
- Trouble shoot and implement solutions with corrective actions.
- Implement ECR / ECNs as needed as well as other improvement projects.
- Support the development and implementation of tooling and equipment standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge & proficiency in one or more of the following: Injection Molding, Process Automation, Assembly Processes.
- Computer proficiency, attention to detail, good work ethic.
- Ability to read & understand engineering drawings, schematics, technical documentation, etc.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits sound judgement and effective decision making.
- Proactive, self-starter approach to working.
- Ability to travel as needed (est. 5-10% maximum).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE): Evaluate the OEE to measure the effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
- Process Cycle Time: Monitor and optimize the time required for each step in the production process.
- Yield Improvement: Measure the percentage of defect-free products and implement strategies to improve yield.
- Cost Reduction: Track and report on cost reductions achieved through process improvements.
- Project Timelines: Evaluate the adherence to project timelines for process improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- 4 year degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years or experience which includes formal training is strongly preferred in Lean Manufacturing tools, such as SMED, Standard Work, and Mold Flow.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in noisy environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
