Duties: Prepare, plan, and conduct validation testing. Report ADV status and creates end of test summaries. Support Quality Processes and collect and Submits Best Practices, Lessons Learned and customer surveys. Support ADV process to reduce Hardware and to realize RLM (Road- Lab-Math) strategy. Lead export validation activities in foreign countries with local partners. Support Vehicle Validation and Type Approval Activities. Lead validation work with internal and external customers and suppliers. Participate in Problem Solving Teams. Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) work groups. Build and lead Vehicle and Commodity ADV Sub-plans. Review program and process results. Analyze and interpret resulting data from tests and resolves data anomalies. Maintain frequent communication with customers and prepares formal written test reports. Hybrid Work Policy – 3 days In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS: degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as a Validation Test Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Automotive Engineer, or related role. Three (3) years of experience with the following: Calibration tools including Puma, INCA, Vehicle Spy, CRETA, MDA, Matlab, Simulink, Concerto, and CAMEO; Product development and validation; and Component and system testing.
One (1) years of experience with the following: Propulsion System Development and Validation; Powertrain Calibration Process; Diagnosing and correcting Engine system, subsystems and calibrations; and Engine Operation and Validation Test Process.
