This position works with several parts of our company from clients and subcontractors to suppliers and vendors. Estimating plan work for J&S Siding. This position will allow you to help customers while maintaining cost and quality at every step.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Represent our company products and services being able to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our clients.
- Solicitation of bids / Quotes through Builder-Trend
- Estimate material quantities for J&S Siding Projects
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving project takeoffs in Plan-Swift estimating software.
- Responsible for modification of existing plans for estimating.
- Responsible for being technical support regarding issues with Plan-Swift. This also includes non-estimating issues as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications Required
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively and ensure successful project execution
- High level of experience with computer operating systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
- Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills for collaborating effectively with others
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
- Home and Construction Knowledge
- Construction Estimation Experience 2 years of experience Estimating in a construction environment preferred
- Strong Attention to Detail
