We’re adding a Construction Estimator to our Preconstruction team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator who enjoys working on a variety of commercial projects and wants to play a key role in winning and shaping upcoming work.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Director of Preconstruction and Project Managers to develop accurate, competitive estimates across multiple delivery methods. You’ll have visibility into high-impact projects and the ability to influence outcomes from the earliest stages.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare conceptual, negotiated, and competitive bid estimates across multiple project types
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to define full project scope
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for labor, materials, and general conditions
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bids
- Maintain bid schedules and ensure proper coverage across all trades
- Attend pre-bid meetings and occasionally visit job sites to evaluate conditions
- Collaborate with Project Managers to support preconstruction and project planning efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Ensure adherence to company bidding procedures and quality standards
- Manage multiple estimates simultaneously (typically 2–3+ projects at a time)
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Primarily in-office with some flexibility
- Occasional travel to local job sites for pre-bid meetings
