Gogebic Community College seeks candidates for a full-time 12-month Supervisor of Mt. Zion Operations located in Ironwood, Michigan. The starting salary for this position is $59,419 annually. This position reports to the Director of Ski Area Management. This position maintains, supervises, and operates the Mt. Zion sports complex and serves as a teaching assistant and part-time instructor in the Ski Area Management (SAM) program, one of only a handful in the country. This is a working supervisor who, when necessary, performs many of the duties at the Ski Area, including lift operations, rental technician, ticket cashier, food cashier, and tubing park attendant.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Ski Area Management and two years of experience in operating a ski area.
- Valid driver's license.
- Advanced First Aid Certificate or Outdoor Emergency Care Certificate or the ability to obtain certification.
- OSHA 40 Certificate or the ability to obtain certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of management experience in operating a ski area.
- Management experience in the ski industry or business environment.
