Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:
Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with business objectives
Lead and manage the purchasing team, including buyers and procurement specialists.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to ensure competitive advantage.
Implement procurement best practices, policies, and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.
Lead supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
Oversee Source-to-Pay processes and procurement governance
Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and financial performance
Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team
Collaborate cross-functionally to support operations and growth
Ensure compliance with internal controls, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
