Job Description
Assist cooks with food preparation and kitchen operations. Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meats, and other food products. Measure and assemble ingredients according to recipes and kitchen instructions. Prepare simple food items, sauces, garnishes, and side dishes. Receive, stock, rotate, and organize food supplies. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, utensils, dishes, and food preparation areas. Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Requirements
- No minimum education requirement.
- No minimum experience required; employer will provide on-the-job training.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Benefits
Employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no cost to the worker. Overtime may be available and will be paid according to applicable law. All deductions from the worker’s paycheck will be made as required by law.
Wage: $15.00-$18.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Guaranteed 35 hours per week. Work schedule varies. Shifts available between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays.
Period of Employment: October 1, 2027 – August 31, 2028
