Lawn & Maintenance Assistant – Seasonal - Coopersville, MI

Position Summary:
The new member of the Bekins' team will be a hands-on, physical worker, with solid mechanical skills. This position will assist in maintaining the grounds and building exteriors of Bekins’ properties. This team member would travel between our multiple locations. This is a seasonal/temporary, full-time or part-time position for the late spring and summer months working Monday - Friday. It is Bekins’ goal to provide award winning customer service while providing employees with a stable environment focused on a healthy work/life balance. Starting at $20 an hour.
Responsibilities:
- Landscaping including replenishing shredded bark, garbage and debris removal, plantings, trimmings, weeding, and watering
- Lawn maintenance
- Clean and maintain outside of storefronts
- Pressure washing
- Window washing
- Roof cleaning
- Be organized, efficient, friendly, and professional
Qualifications:
- Able to move and lift heavy objects on a daily basis
- Solid mechanical skills
- A friendly personality
- Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats
- Experience using a pressure washer is a plus
- Able to work independently
- Safely travel to worksites – maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a clean and professional manner
