General Accountant (Entry Level)

Amigo is looking for a full-time General Accountant at our location in Bridgeport, Michigan.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in Order to Cash processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in Procure to Pay processes while supporting cross-functional needs
- Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations with strong attention to detail
- Complete account reconciliations and ensure accounts are properly reported
- Prepare financial statements accurately and within required timelines
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial planning activities
- Manage and support sales tax processes
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area while ensuring high-quality output
- Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment
- Demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Accounting or Business Bachelor’s degree or similar educational track
- Strong Understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Reliable and prompt with the ability to meet goals and deadlines
- Growing knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Ability to meet internal and external customer needs
- Willingness to learn, be cross-trained, and support other functions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
