Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a part-time role with the potential to grow into full-time hours. This position primarily provides in-home personal care services to clients and also includes regular office duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, independence, and being part of a supportive, tight-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care (Primary Role)
- Cover cases when we open them as we work to connect caregivers and clients
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervising nurse
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Office Support
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with basic administrative tasks
- Help with filing, organizing client records, and preparing care packets
- Support scheduling staff with confirming shifts or communicating updates
- Assist with general office operations during staff absences or busy periods
Qualifications
- Current Michigan CNA certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient centered mindset
- Comfortable working independently in client homes
- Willingness to assist with office duties when needed
Schedule & Hours
- Part-time to start (15–25 hours/week), with opportunity to increase to full-time
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs
- Occasional office hours during business hours when coverage is required
