This position is responsible for:
Coordinate activities with the Tooling Accounting Manager and Analyst
North American vendor and plant tooling asset accounting activities, forecasting, and reporting for tool capitalization and amortization expense, and cross-functional partnering on vendor tooling process redesign initiatives
Tooling asset accounting activities oversight include capitalization, transfers, disposals, and useful life changes
Performance of month-end closing activities, and account reconciliation reviews
Forecast and reporting oversight include monthly forecasting and variance reporting, annual budgeting, and periodic business plan development and reporting to senior management
Cross-functional vendor and plant tooling process redesign initiatives include partnering and collaborating with Purchasing, SCIE, Capex Supplier Tooling Finance, Purchasing Finance, and Mopar
Providing tooling accounting guidance to stakeholders including product team and CN group
Providing risk management controllership guidance and integral support for vendor tooling SOX narrative
Subject Matter Expert for all systems development and improvements
Supporting corporate fixed assets reporting team
Supporting ad-hoc projects as requested

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience
Good working knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and techniques
Knowledge of the asset management lifecycle, especially the asset capitalization and disposal financial processes
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
Asset accounting experience
Supervisory experience
MBA, CPA, CMA or similar
