The Job Training Center is currently seeking a FT Faculty Member to develop and teach non-credit courses in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). This includes general ESOL English instruction, as well as career specific ESOL courses. This position is working a schedule, at Downtown, West Campus, East Extension Center, or offsite locations as needed.
Teach courses in non-Credit ESOL, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising non-credit ESOL students, as well as mentoring students. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
