Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Industrial Design or related field, and zero (0) years of experience. Employer will accept one year of related experience in lieu of one year of education. Must also have experience with: Estimating accurate timing requirements for Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP) model execution, evolution, and excellence.
Utilizing creative digital sculpting, clay sculpting, and physical milling processes to develop surfaces that meet design and engineering specifications; Interpreting sketches to translate 2D designs and artistic direction into 3D mathematical models; and Production and manufacturing processes applicable to surface development including die pull direction, draft angle, material graining provisions, parting line location, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications, formability requirements, vehicle packaging and integration system realization.
