DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* This position, under the Operation Performance Management (OPM) department, is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining custom reporting and data solutions for the Claims, Enrollment and Program Management (CEPM) division.
* The Custom Reporting Solutions team designs and builds SQL Server databases, cubes, stored procedures and SSIS packages to stage data for the data solution projects. The dashboards provide the user a visual presentation environment that utilizes charts and graphs with the ability to group, sort, filter and drill-down into data for analysis.
* Excellent communication and customer service oriented skills are required. This position has daily customer interaction and the successful candidate must have proven abilities to extract and analyze requirements from customers at all levels of the organization.
* Conduct analysis of divisional goals for the development and implementation of data and reporting solutions. With general guidance and coaching, performs technical design and development of data delivery solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
* Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those delivery solutions.
* Ensures the SDLC methodology is followed; conducts inspections and post implementation reviews.
* Partners with business personnel to conduct analysis of data and report requests. Acts as a primary liaison with the user area for development and modifications to existing data and reporting solutions.
* Significant creativity is required.
